The Story

I AM A 44-YEAR OLd UNITED STATES MARINE...

Not everyone wakes up and decides to become a professional adversity speaker, but I am living my purpose, passion, and my goal to inspire and motivate people through experiences that have happened in my life.

I recently became a published author and the title of my book is, Live With Honor, Turning Tragedy Into Triumph.  When everyone wakes up in the morning, they have a choice to make: whether they want to put their best foot forward or complain about how much they are unhappy with their life.

I am striving to make a difference in this world, and the way that I will do that is having a positive impact on every person that I come in contact with.  I treat everyone with the same respect that I would want in return, no matter who you are or what your place is in this world.

My biological Mother, Donna Marie Panus lost her life due to a battle with cancer, 30 days after I was taken out nearly two months prematurely.  There is not a day that goes by without me missing my Mother.  I live my life to honor her and make her proud of her only son.  The way that I do this is to inspire and motivate people by me being an inspirational/motivational speaker.

Speaking about making good choices, overcoming adversity, living with respect, gratitude, humility, and waking up every day and being the best person possible, whether it be giving a helping hand to someone who needs help or just starting a conversation with a complete stranger and brightening up their day. My life has a purpose and I will make a positive impact on every person that I come in contact with on a daily basis.

We only have one chance at this incredible gift of life that we have on this planet and what we do when we are here is what defines our character and the legacy that we all will leave behind. Life is what you make it and anything is possible.

Losing my biological Mother and never knowing her has not been the only traumatic event in my life.  The second traumatic event was caused by a poor decision made by me when I was a Senior in College at Eastern Connecticut State University in Willimantic, CT.

I am a member of the Omicron Delta Kappa Honor Society, and held a 3.4 GPA while I attended E.C.S.U.  I never thought that I would graduate from College, so I was overly excited to start my Final Semester at E.C.S.U. in the year of 2005.
